Red Ribbon Week - October 25-29

Holland Elementary School staff and students thank the Springfield Area Prevention Coalition for once again sponsoring Red Ribbon Week. This week, with coordination from Mr. G, raises students' awareness about all the dangers associated with substance abuse. Each day encourage a different theme for the students:
Monday- "Red-y" for Drug Awareness (wear red)
Tuesday- Don't get Mixed Up with Drugs (wear mixed-matched or backwards clothes)
Wednesday- Team Up Against Drugs (wear your favorite sports team jersey or shirt)
Thursday- Dress for Your Future (dress for the future job you want, doctor, firefighter, etc)
Friday- Say Boo to Drugs (wear orange and black)
Students had a lot of fun learning about why making good decisions is so important- especially on Don't Get "Mixed Up" with Drugs day!!
